Going for Golf

Baden

Still in southern Brittany, just 30 miles from Rhuys-Kerver, and roughly the same distance from the airport at Lorient, is Golf de Baden. Right from the off you know you’re close to water, as the opening hole takes you down towards an inlet of the Auray river, littered with moored boats bobbing on their buoys. There are lakes and large fairway bunkers, but overall Baden is fairly open and forgiving, as long as you steer clear of the oaks and pines and can cope with a couple of tight-ish tee shots.
