




Boom Media acquired Going for Golf in January 2009 and plans to use the magazine as a platform to become Britain’s leading golf travel media company. We re-launched the magazine in June 2009 with fantastic new design throughout and launched the new website in September 2009.
Boom Media is owned by four people who have loads of publishing and golf experience. Between us we have fifty years experience of publishing and ninety years experience of golf.
Going for Golf is Britain’s only golf travel magazine. The magazine is published quarterly and distributed to 1,070 golf clubs across Britain, giving us an estimated readership of 200,000 golfers. Our readers are very active golfers. 91% of them play golf more than once per week and 77% go on two or more golf holidays each year.
It is our intention to tell British golfers about golf opportunities around the world through our magazine and website and give golf clubs and resorts the ability to promote their golf opportunities to our readers.
